We are currently recruiting for a Service & Installation Helper to join the Golden Windows team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Loading and unloading product into the storage unit and/or job site and organizing product for efficient loading and delivery.
- Providing courteous and professional window/door service and adjustments to both warranty and non-warranty items which may include, but it not limited to: re-glazing, caulking and foaming, replacing hardware and other components and working on both ladders and scaffolding as necessary.
- Developing strong customer relationships.
- Safe and efficient operation of our delivery vehicles.
- Work with other team members to facilitate effective customer service.
- Create and adhere to schedules and conduct appointments in an efficient and timely manner to meet the customers’ needs.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in carpentry, window manufacturing, door manufacturing, cabinet making or construction is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Minimum grade 12 or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 100lbs).
- Current Working at Heights certificate considered an asset.
- Previous experience using hand tools.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Superior customer service skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Personal protective equipment (CSA approved footwear, plus hearing and eye protection where required).
- Overtime is consistently available and paid after 44 hours.
- Frequent interruptions with changing priorities and deadlines.
- Working in changing weather conditions.
