Position Overview
TMG Industrial is looking for a technically strong professional who enjoys improving products and bringing new products to market. This role focuses on product quality, continuous improvement, and working closely with overseas manufacturers.
What You'll Be Doing:
Quality Improvement and Product Evolution
- Review existing products using market feedback, performance data, and customer requirements to identify improvement opportunities
- Conduct product quality reviews in collaboration with overseas manufacturing partners
- Investigate manufacturing and quality issues, performing root-cause analysis and defining corrective actions
- Work directly with manufacturers to resolve issues and prevent recurrence
- Support and enhance quality control processes across existing product lines
- Plan, prioritize, and execute product improvement initiatives, including feature enhancements, new variants, cost optimization, and quality upgrades
Product Development & Sourcing
- Lead sourcing and development of new products and SKUs
- Review product designs, specifications, and manufacturing feasibility
- Collaborate with other Departments to coordinate product rollouts (e.g. inventory, website listings, marketing efforts) and lead internal product training sessions.
- Attend industry trade shows, vendor meetings, and site visits as needed to build relationships and evaluate sourcing opportunities.
What You Bring:
- At least 5 years of proven experience in product development within industrial manufacturing environment.
- Background in manufacturing, machinery, equipment, tools, or industrial goods is a strong asset.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes from design through finished product, with a grasp of material, manufacturing process, quality control, and product quality requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is a strong asset.

Work Schedule | Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm | Onsite
Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
