About the Role
Sueland Moving is seeking dependable and skilled Movers/Installers to join our team. You will be responsible for safely transporting, assembling, and installing furniture, fixtures, and equipment in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a combination of physical strength, technical skill, and attention to detail to ensure all installations meet our high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service during all moving and installation projects.
- Load, transport, and unload furniture and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assemble, install, and position items according to floor plans and client specifications.
- Read and interpret installation instructions, drawings, and layouts accurately.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other installation equipment properly and safely.
- Maintain organized and clean workspaces before, during, and after each project.
- Sign in/out tools, vehicles, and materials according to company protocols.
- Represent Sueland Moving professionally with clean uniforms and good personal presentation.
- Work collaboratively with team members and assist with process improvements when possible.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of moving or installation experience.
- Comfortable lifting heavy items and performing physically demanding tasks.
- Proficient with hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and follow detailed instructions, layouts, and measurements accurately.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious.
- Basic math skills for measurements and installation accuracy.
