Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Lead Hand/Supervisor to join our team and oversee renovation and maintenance projects with enthusiasm and expertise. Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of renovation/maintenance technicians, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards
- Oversee tool and material inventory, repairs, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance
- Coordinate daily work schedules, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress on multiple projects
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment
- Support the training and development of team members in construction practices and maintenance techniques
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand project needs and provide updates on progress
Skills
- Proven experience supervising maintenance or construction crews with strong leadership capabilities
- Knowledge of Ontario Building Code maintenance best practices are an asset
- Hands-on experience in construction or project management is highly desirable
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills for team coordination and client interactions
- Ability to troubleshoot issues related to plumbing, electrical, or related issues to rectify problems promptly
- Demonstrated commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
