Location: Education camp for kids in Markham (14th and warden)
Schedule: Flexible shifts between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Program Dates: July 6th through August 28
Are you a high school student looking to complete your community involvement hours while gaining valuable experience working with children?
We are seeking enthusiastic, responsible, and caring high school volunteers to assist our teachers during our Summer Camp program.
Please Note: This is an unpaid volunteer position intended for students completing their Ontario community involvement hours.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Support students with activities in Math, Language Arts, Art, Robotics, and Public Speaking
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and supervision
- Help escort and supervise children during outdoor play and activities
- Encourage student participation and create a positive learning environment
- Help set up and organize classrooms and activity materials
- Assist with tidying and cleaning up classrooms, learning materials, and activity spaces throughout the day and at the end of camp
Who Can Apply:
- High school students looking to complete their Ontario community involvement hours
- Friendly, patient, dependable, and enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with children
- No previous experience is required—training and guidance will be provided
Volunteer Hours:
Flexible scheduling is available between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Volunteers may choose full-day or half-day shifts based on their availability.
