Professional Painter / Drywall Finisher
Fort Sask Reno Inc. is hiring an experienced Painter / Drywall Finisher to join our renovation team.
We are looking for a skilled renovation professional whose primary strengths are painting, drywall finishing, and texture work, but who also has experience in other renovation trades. The ideal candidate can work independently, maintain high-quality standards, and contribute to a variety of residential renovation projects.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who can work with minimal supervision and consistently deliver professional results.
Responsibilities
- Tape, mud, and finish drywall to a professional paint-ready standard.
- Match and repair textures on walls and ceilings.
- Prepare surfaces and complete interior painting using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Perform drywall repairs and patching.
- Install and repair baseboards, casings, doors, and other finish carpentry items.
- Assist with drywall installation as required.
- Complete flooring installations including vinyl plank, laminate, and other common flooring products.
- Perform caulking, touch-ups, and final finishing work.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Follow project schedules and quality standards while working independently or as part of a team.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional painting and drywall finishing experience.
- Strong skills in mudding, taping, sanding, texture matching, and painting.
- Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision.
- Experience with finish carpentry including baseboards, casings, doors, and trim.
- Experience with drywall installation and repairs.
- Experience installing flooring is required.
- Ability to solve problems and complete tasks without constant direction.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Professional attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
