Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Laborer to join our team. This role involves supporting construction and electrical projects through hands-on work, assisting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring safety and efficiency on site. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, basic knowledge of construction tools, and an interest in developing technical skills in electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the demolition electrical components, sorting and removing disassembled components to forther recycling program.
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as impact drill and hand tools
- Support skilled electricians with tasks requiring physical labor, including lifting, carrying, and positioning materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
- Support the setup and teardown of job sites as needed
Requirements
- Basic understanding of construction practices
- Experience with hand tools, power tools is highly desirable
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver’s license, clear criminal record
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks on construction sites
This is a temporary position for a couple weeks, with possible extension depends on work demand.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
