Responsibilities
- Accounts payable.
- Credit card reconciliations.
- Processing & balancing donations.
- Monitors accounting enquiries.
- Data entry as required.
- Other duties as required by the Director of Finance.

Specific Outcomes
- Accurate & Timely Accounts Payable: All vendor invoices and organizational payables are processed, coded, and paid on schedule, with discrepancies identified and resolved promptly.
- Reliable Donation Processing: Donations are received, recorded, and reconciled consistently and accurately, supporting donor trust and audit readiness.
- Clean Credit Card Reconciliations: Monthly credit card statements are fully reconciled against receipts and expense records, with all variances investigated and documented.
- Timely Entry of All Transactions: All financial transactions are entered into QuickBooks Online promptly and accurately, ensuring the general ledger remains current and reliable for reporting and decision-making.
- Responsive Accounting Inbox: Accounting enquiries are monitored and responded to in a timely, professional manner, ensuring smooth communication with vendors, staff, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bookkeeping/accounting course or education preferred.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online is an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365.
- Ability to collaborate and take direction.
- Motivated by transparent communication and teamwork.
- Previous experience in non-profit environment preferred.
- Detail oriented is important.
Reports to: Director of Finance
Hours: 4 days/week (32 hrs.)
Salary: $24 - $32/hr
