Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Service Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical systems, and construction processes to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction. The Service Plumber will work closely with clients and team members to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions efficiently.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in various settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute projects accurately
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete installations and repairs
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate project completion
- Conduct inspections to identify plumbing issues and determine appropriate corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes during all operations
- Assist in assembly of plumbing components and related systems as needed
- Maintain detailed records of work performed for client files and company documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience with plumbing systems in residential or commercial environments
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record for commercial driving responsibilities if required
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely and work in physically demanding conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Commitment to safety procedures and building code compliance
Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
