Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Returns Coordinator to join our dynamic yard team. In this role, you will drive to various sites in Edmonton and the surrounding area using a 1/2 ton pickup truck and either collect product for return or stack and band it together for collection by a truck mounted forklift. You will also tally items for credit and assist with returning the product to appropriate picking homes in the yard once they have been collected. Shift time for the role is 7am until 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.
Duties
- Collect product to be returned using a pickup truck or stack and band material together for pickup by a truck with tag-along forklift
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving teams to ensure returned goods are correctly processed for restocking, disposal, or repair
- Utilize forklifts to unload and organize returned products
- Maintain accurate records of all returns transactions
- Assist with maintenance and other yard tasks when there are no returns to collect or put away
Experience
- Proven warehouse experience with a strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures.
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and data entry accuracy are essential.
- Previous experience with commercial driving, completion of logbooks and vehicle inspections is an asset
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years driving experience - good driving abstract required
- Class 5 driver's license in good standing
- Capable of lifting and carrying heavy or bulky objects
Pay: $21.00 per hour
