About the Role
This is a remote, performance-based Sales Partner and Appointment Setter role. You will identify qualified business leads, conduct professional outreach, follow up consistently, and book discovery calls with potential clients on behalf of Search & Systems.
This is not a passive income opportunity. It is a real sales role for a real agency. We are looking for someone who takes their work seriously, communicates professionally, and can generate consistent activity.
The first 3 months are a performance-based probation period. Compensation is 100% commission-based. If performance is strong at the 3-month mark, we will discuss whether the role evolves into a base salary plus performance incentive structure. That transition is earned, not guaranteed.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify qualified business leads in target industries
- Conduct professional outreach via cold email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Upwork, or other agreed channels
- Follow up consistently with prospects who have not yet responded or converted
- Book qualified discovery calls for the Search & Systems team
- Track all leads, outreach activity, and conversations in a shared CRM or tracking sheet
- Submit daily activity reports to maintain visibility on pipeline health
- Represent Search & Systems with professionalism - no fake promises, no misleading claims
- Communicate proactively with the team about what is working and what needs adjustment
Requirements
Must Have:
- Strong spoken and written English - you will be communicating directly with business owners
- Minimum 1 year of experience in B2B outreach, appointment setting, cold email, or a related sales or lead generation function
- Proven ability to conduct professional outreach and book calls
- Self-directed work ethic - you manage your own time and output
- Strong organizational habits - consistent follow-up, no dropped leads
- Reliable internet and availability during agreed activity windows
- Based in Canada or a strong English-speaking country
Strong Asset (Not Required):
- Experience selling digital marketing, paid advertising, websites, SaaS, automation, or lead generation services
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as GoHighLevel or HubSpot
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Instantly, or similar prospecting tools
- Understanding of basic digital marketing concepts
Compensation - Commission-Based (Paid in USD)
- 50% of the first month's collected service revenue from each new client you bring in
- 10% recurring commission on collected service revenue for each additional month the client remains retained and paying, for a maximum of 3 collected monthly service payments per client
Commission applies to service revenue only. No commission is paid on ad spend, software fees, taxes, refunds, chargebacks, or third-party costs. Commissions are paid on collected revenue, not invoiced amounts.
Example: A $2,000/month retainer earns $1,000 in month one and $200/month for up to 3 retained monthly payments - a total of $1,600 per client at that level.
After 3 months: If you have demonstrated strong performance, we will revisit the structure and may offer a base salary plus performance incentives. This is not guaranteed - it depends on results, lead quality, communication, and client retention.
3-Month Probation Period
The first 3 months are a structured evaluation period:
- You are working as a performance-based sales partner, not a salaried employee
- You set your own hours and manage your own outreach - we care about output, not time
- We will provide onboarding materials, messaging guidelines, service descriptions, and positioning documents
- We expect daily activity reports and honest communication
- At the end of 3 months, we evaluate together: your results, communication quality, and whether there is a foundation for a longer-term arrangement
Ideal Candidate
You are a good fit for this role if:
- You have done sales or outreach before and you are good at it - not just willing to try it
- You are comfortable being told no and following up anyway
- You understand that building a client pipeline takes consistency and time
- You take ownership of your activity and do not wait to be told what to do next
- You communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally
- You want to grow with an agency doing serious work
This role is not ideal if you need a guaranteed salary immediately, are not experienced with outreach or sales, or want someone else to manage your daily activity.
