Reporting to the Estimating Manager, the role of the Intermediate Project Estimator is to diligently prepare detailed and accurate construction cost estimates. The Intermediate Project Estimator bears the responsibility of delivering a comprehensive proposal for electrical Oil & Gas projects, showcasing their expertise and attention to detail. In addition to estimating project costs, the Intermediate Project Estimator excels in identifying valuable opportunities for other cost-saving measures, contributing to the organization's overall efficiency and success.

Responsibilities
· Assist the Estimators to prepare complete cost estimates for Electrical Oil & Gas industrial and renewables Projects.
· Assist project team with the project life cycle in tracking and understanding basis of cost estimate
· Assist in hand-off of all estimates to the Construction Management Team after contract award.
Requirements
· Journeyman Electrician and/or Electrical Technologist Diploma with field experience required in Oil & Gas.
· At least 3-5 Years of Cost Estimating experience within the Electrical Oil and Gas field.
· Must have at least ten (10) years of field experience in Electrical/Instrumentation Industrial Oil & Gas industry.
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.
· Must possess experience in understanding blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time/cost/labour estimates.
· Ability to prepare construction schedules based on the cost estimate.
· Proficient in Accubid Estimating Software with a minimum of (3-5) year experience using Accubid Estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite programs.
· Must excel in analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
· Self-driven and possesses the ability to stay on-task for extended periods of time.
· A team player able to work with various partners from start until finish.
· Ability to interpret engineered drawings.
