EPI Fire Protection Inc is a Toronto, Ontario based company that is seeking to hire multiple CFAA licensed or prospective Fire Alarm technicians to join EPI’s growing team. EPI’s core business is Fire Alarm System inspections, repairs, installations and responding to 24/7 service requests.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain alarm systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Conduct site surveys to determine the best locations for alarm system components
- Program and test alarm systems to ensure proper functionality
- Troubleshoot and repair alarm system issues
- Provide customer support and answer any questions or concerns regarding alarm systems
- Collaborate with team members to complete installations and projects on time
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years previous experience as an Alarm Technician (Fully certified CFAA license required)
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use power tools effectively
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and electrical components
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
- Ability to detect and resolve issues with alarm systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
