Position Overview
Fort St. John Co-op is hiring a Yard Attendant within our Business Operations unit located at 7315 – 100th Avenue in Fort St. John, BC. to support day-to-day operational upkeep. This role ensures safe, reliable, and cost-effective maintenance through hands-on repairs, service response, and continuous improvement of physical assets.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct general and preventative maintenance & repair work
- Perform general housekeeping and cleaning tasks
- Assist in preparation of delivery orders and pick-up orders
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) for work order management & documentation
- Operate various equipment including skid steers, forklifts, company vehicles, etc.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify hazards, risks, or required repairs
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Assist with coordination of internal teams and external contractors as required
- Occasional travel to work at different job sites within Fort St. John, B.C. will be required.

Qualifications
- Valid BC Class 5 or 7N Driver’s License, clean abstract and personal vehicle are required
- Ability to lift 26kg and carry loads up to 100m repeatedly
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to communicate with others including customers, team members and leaders
- Availability for flexible scheduling, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and required overtime
- Ability to pass pre-screening Drug and Alcohol testing
- Experience with CMMS software is not required, but considered an asset
