Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Structural Steel Welder to join our team in Calgary. This role involves working on a variety of fabrication and installation projects within commercial and industrial environments. You’ll be part of a hands-on team focused on quality workmanship and safe, efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding on structural steel using MIG, TIG, and stick methods
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Ensure welds meet required quality standards and specifications
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and site guidelines
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects
Requirements:
- Welding certification (CWB or equivalent considered an asset)
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in welding
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Solid understanding of safety practices
