What You'll Do
As a Sales Associate, you will be the face and voice of Homestar Inc. for many of our clients. Working closely with our Sales Manager and Business Development Centre (BDC), you will turn inquiries into successful projects by guiding clients through our services and solutions.
Customer Engagement & Sales Execution:
- Respond promptly to inbound inquiries from the BDC, website, and phone lines, transforming leads into consultations.
- Consult with residential and commercial clients to understand their project needs, presenting tailored Homestar solutions.
- Conduct professional consultations and present accurate, transparent pricing estimates.
- Actively follow up on open quotes and pipelines to close sales opportunities and meet monthly targets.
- Ensure a seamless, high-quality onboarding experience for clients as their projects transition to our operations team.
Systems, CRM & Technology:
- Maintain meticulous records of all customer interactions, quotes, and follow-ups within our CRM platform.
- Utilize automated scheduling, follow-up tools, and modern sales software to maximize efficiency and response times.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to continuously identify ways to improve the customer journey.
Relationship Building & Growth:
- Build long-term trust with residential clients, property managers, and local businesses to secure repeat and referral business.
- Participate in team meetings, sharing insights on market trends, customer feedback, and process improvements.
- Represent Homestar Inc. professionally at local home shows, community events, or site meetings when required.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a retail sales, inside sales, account management, or customer service role.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport quickly.
- Strong organizational skills and sharp attention to detail when preparing client proposals.
- Tech-savvy and highly comfortable navigating CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and mobile apps.
- A self-motivated mindset with a strong drive to achieve goals and work under minimal supervision.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience or a strong interest in construction, home improvement, residential services, maintenance, or related industries.
- Experience utilizing lead management software or working alongside a call center/BDC structure.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
- Clean Driver's Abstract (for occasional local travel/client visits).
- Criminal Record Check.
