Overview
Seoul Gamasot Korean Restaurant is seeking a friendly, reliable, and service-oriented Part-Time Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, maintain food safety and sanitation standards, and help create a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our customers.
This position involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is an asset but not required.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using a POS system and ensure proper food handling and presentation
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high food safety and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and support sales growth
- Handle cash and process payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations
- Assist with basic side duties to support smooth restaurant operations
- Manage multiple tables efficiently during busy service periods
- Address guest questions or concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred but
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Ability to handle cash transactions and perform basic math
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Strong time management skills and ability to multitask
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
Part-Timen Server Schedule
Friday & Saturday: 4:45 PM – 9:45 PM
Sunday: 11:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Sunday: 4:45 PM – 8:45 PM
