Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with doctors’ orders and hospital protocols
- Provide expert consultation to patients and healthcare staff regarding medication therapy, potential interactions, and proper usage
- Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and regulatory requirements related to medication handling and patient care
- Maintain precise records of medication dispensing, inventory management, and patient interactions
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment plans
- Monitor patient responses to medications and report adverse reactions or concerns promptly
- Educate patients on medication administration techniques, storage instructions, and potential side effects to promote safe use
Qualifications
- Valid license as a registered Pharmacist in the relevant jurisdiction
- Hospital experience or acute care experience is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication management protocols
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent patient care with compassion and professionalism
- Proficiency in medication administration procedures and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patient education
