Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate and program CNC machinery, including CNC lathes, milling machines, and press brake equipment, to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with CAD and Mastercam, and experience with various machining tools. The CNC Machinist will ensure high-quality production while adhering to safety standards and manufacturing best practices.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC equipment such as CNC milling machines, and CNC lathes with precision and efficiency.
- Program CNC machines using CAD files, CNC programming skills, and Fanuc controls to produce complex components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate machining processes.
- Set up and calibrate machinery using hand tools, calipers, and other measurement devices to meet tight tolerances.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and machine operations.
- Conduct quality control checks using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools to verify dimensions and surface finishes.
- Assist in assembly, or packaging tasks as needed within the manufacturing process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members in production areas to optimize workflow efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment.
- Proficiency in CNC programming and familiarity with Fanuc controls.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, CAD software (Mastercam preferred).
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in manufacturing environments involving machining, welding, or assembly processes.
- Ability to operate hand tools, calipers, micrometers, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Basic understanding of quality control procedures to ensure product specifications are met.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. - Rate of pay determined by experience.
Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
