Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing excellent customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience with medical or dental offices, QuickBooks, and Google Workspace is a plus. Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients in a friendly and professional manner at the front desk
- Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Perform data entry with accuracy, including updating client or patient records
- Handle filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, ensuring documents are organized and accessible
- Assist with administrative tasks such as proofreading documents, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies
- Support bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks when necessary
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area to promote a welcoming environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations
Qualifications
- Proven administrative experience
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry software
- Experience with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations
- Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
- Organizational skills with attention to detail for proofreading, filing, and managing schedules
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of QuickBooks or bookkeeping experience is advantageous
- Prior experience in medical or dental offices is preferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative certifications are a plus
- Pay will be based on experience
Pay: $15.56-$30.00 per hour
