Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join and lead their growing team 30 mins outside of the Kitchener-Waterloo area. The Maintenance Manager is a knowledgeable Maintenance leader with at least 5 years of experience in a Maintenance leadership role applying proven Maintenance best practices in a fast paced industrial environment.
What You’ll do
- The Maintenance Manager promotes and maintains a safe working environment through compliance with the companies Health and Safety Program. This includes Food Safety and Environmental compliance.
- Manage the work identification and optimization process.
- Manage the maintenance work planning and scheduling processes and ensure proper staffing levels and clear delineation between roles.
- Establish/manage a process to review the existing maintenance strategy when the equipment or operating practices change or when the equipment does not meet performance objectives.
- Accountable for the application of a condition monitoring and predictive technologies to meet the site's business goals and objectives.
Who You Are:
- 5+ years’ experience in a Maintenance Manager role.
- Food manufacturing experience required.
- Ability to work with meat products in a scented environment.
- Technical diploma is required although an Engineering degree is highly preferred.
- Proven experience leading a diverse team through hands on mentoring, KPI’s and coaching while adhering to company standards.
