Job Title: Gardening Crew Lead / Experienced Garden Maintenance Technician
Gardening Services is looking for a motivated, knowledgeable, and dependable individual to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who can work independently, take initiative, and lead by example while delivering high-quality garden maintenance and landscaping services.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is self-sufficient and confident working independently at job sites or alongside one additional team member. This person should have strong gardening knowledge and enough experience to be trusted to manage and maintain properties with minimal supervision. They should also be comfortable teaching and training other team members while helping build a strong and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Independently maintain residential and commercial gardens
- Identify flowers, plants, shrubs, and distinguish them from weeds
- Plant, prune, trim, weed, and maintain gardens properly
- Monitor the overall health and appearance of landscapes
- Train and guide other team members when needed
- Work efficiently and maintain high standards of quality
- Communicate professionally with team members and clients
- Take ownership of assigned properties and responsibilities
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of gardening and plant maintenance
- Experience with planting, trimming, pruning, and general garden care
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Leadership qualities and willingness to teach others
- Hard-working with a strong work ethic
- Works well in a team environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work efficiently throughout the day
- Positive attitude and takes pride in their work
Most have a car or be able to come to king city
We are looking for someone who leads from within, takes initiative, and wants to grow with the company.
Pay: $17.62-$29.56 per hour
