Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Mover/Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting and handling items efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in moving, warehouse operations, or commercial driving, and possess strong communication skills to ensure smooth interactions with clients and team members.
Duties
- Safely load, unload, and transport furniture, equipment, and other items to designated locations
- Operate commercial vehicles including trucks and vans in compliance with all safety regulations
- Use forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed to move heavy or bulky items
- Assist customers with their moving needs, answering questions and providing professional service
- Ensure all items are secured properly during transit to prevent damage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and work area
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding schedules, routes, and any issues during transport
Skills
- Experience in moving services or warehouse operations preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus
- Strong customer service skills to ensure positive client interactions
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or the ability to obtain one is desirable
- Good physical stamina and attention to safety protocols
- Prior experience in warehouse environments or commercial driving is beneficial
