Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and cooking, with a strong focus on food safety and quality. The position requires a team-oriented individual who thrives in a very fast-paced kitchen setting and has prior restaurant or kitchen experience.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed to uphold food safety standards
- Serve dishes promptly and efficiently during busy service hours
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food industry standards
- Support meal preparation for special events or catering as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is needed
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Strong cooking skills with the ability to prepare a variety of dishes
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, evenings and mornings as needed
- Culinary training is a plus but not required
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
