Job Description
We are a growing residential pool service company looking for a Junior Pool Technician / Helper to assist with daily pool maintenance and service calls.
This is a hands-on position where you will work directly with the lead technician to complete service calls efficiently. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of pool maintenance or related outdoor labour experience, are comfortable working outdoors, and are motivated to learn the trade.
Responsibilities
- Assist with weekly pool maintenance
- Vacuum pools, skim debris, brush walls and tiles.
- Test and balance pool water chemistry
- Add chlorine, stabilizer, salt, and other chemicals as required
- Assist with pool openings and pool closings
- Inspect and assist with maintenance of pumps, filters, heaters, and pool equipment
- Load/unload tools, chemicals, and equipment
- Follow WHMIS safety procedures for handling pool chemicals
- Provide professional service to high-end residential customers
Requirements
- 1+ year experience in pool service, landscaping, or outdoor labour (preferred)
- Valid G Driver’s License with reliable transportation
- WHMIS certification
- Gas mask fit test
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors
- Willing to work long hours and in adverse weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- Occasional Saturdays during peak pool season
