We are seeking a highly skilled Installer specializing in Industrial Equipment to join a dynamic team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ventilation, exhaust and filtration systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and electrical background, ability to interpret blueprints, operate hoisting equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and fan control systems. You will also perform repairs to ensure machinery meets safety and operational standards. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing technical expertise to ensure optimal operation of industrial machinery and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and commission industrial equipment in various facilities, ensuring adherence to schematics and technical specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of machinery using precision measuring instruments, and other diagnostic tools.
- Diagnose electrical issues; perform repairs or replacements as needed.
- Operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts and other lifting devices safely during installation and maintenance tasks.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to facilitate accurate installation and repairs.
- Collaborate with the team to optimize equipment performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding system status and troubleshooting procedures.
- Apply knowledge of hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding (including welding), and mechanical principles to complete projects efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards related to electrical work, high voltage systems, and industrial mechanics.
Skills
- Extensive experience working within manufacturing facilities or industrial environments.
- Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical control systems.
- Strong understanding of schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems, HVAC/R systems, welding techniques
- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments
- Mechanical expertise in industrial mechanics combined with electrical experience
- Familiarity with analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery issues efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills coupled with effective communication abilities in English.
- Experience working in field service roles within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Scissor Lift experience and certification a plus
- Millwright
- Sheet metal or construction experience required
