Job Overview
We are a newly started company looking to fill out our crew with a dedicated Roofer/Labourer to join our metal roofing team. This role involves assisting with roofing projects and general labor tasks on various job sites. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn about metal roofing processes. Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, and repair of metal roofing systems using hand tools and power tools
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as metal sheets, plywood, and other roofing components
- Use caulking and sealing techniques to ensure waterproofing and durability of roofing structures
- Operate hand tools including hammers, screwdrivers, saws, snips, folders and other basic construction equipment
- Support carpentry tasks related to framing, sheathing, or other structural components
- Conduct general labor duties such as cleaning work areas, moving materials, and assisting team members
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe work site.
- Requirements
- One year roofing experience is a must and will require proof to meet company insurance requirements
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic carpentry skills is a plus
- Experience with handyman work is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills in roofing and construction processes
Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour
