Hammond Jewellers is a third-generation family run jewellery store that has proudly served Maple Ridge and surrounding communities since 1957. For nearly 70 years, we have built our reputation on exceptional customer service, expert craftsmanship, and lasting relationships with our clients.
We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and customer-focused individual to join our team in a Jewellery Sales & Customer Service role. This position offers the opportunity to work with engagement rings, custom jewellery design, repairs, watches, and fine jewellery while helping customers celebrate some of life's most meaningful moments.
What You'll Do
- Assist customers with jewellery purchases, including engagement rings and fine jewellery
- Help customers with custom jewellery design projects
- Take in jewellery and watch repairs
- Change watch batteries and watch straps
- Order findings, special-order items, and customer requests
- Build long-term relationships with customers through service
- Maintain product displays and assist with general store operations
- Help wth social media posts & content
What We're Looking For
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- A genuine interest in jewellery and helping people
- Ability to build rapport and create memorable customer experiences
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
- Ability to help with social media content
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in jewellery sales, jewellery repair intake, or the jewellery industry
- Knowledge of gemstones, diamonds, watches, and jewellery repairs
- Goldsmithing experience is considered a strong asset
- Experience working in luxury retail or sales is an asset

Looking for someone to work 3-4 days/ week. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
