Field Maintenance plays a key role in supporting field operations by receiving, delivering, setting up, maintaining, and retrieving rental tanks and related equipment.
Located out of Grande Prairie, Alberta - This role is ideal for someone with hands-on oilfield experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the physical capability to work in demanding outdoor environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving equipment / Moving equipment in the yard
- Delivering and picking up rental tanks at various oilfield locations using company vehicles and equipment.
- Assisting with tank setup, placement, and rig-in/rig-out activities to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining tanks to company standards before and after deployment.
- Completing field documentation such as delivery tickets, inspection forms, and safety checklists.
- Communicating with dispatch and field supervisors to coordinate schedules and respond to customer needs.
- Following all safety protocols and participating in safety meetings, training, and hazard assessments.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working on a drilling rig or in oilfield services; familiarity with tanks or fluid management is a strong asset.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license. Must meet company requirements for operating vehicles and equipment. Abstract required.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting, climbing, and working in varying weather conditions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and heavy equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a field team.
- Strong communication and problem solving skills.
- Safety certifications such as H2S Alive, First Aid, or CSO are considered an asset.
Work Environment
- Field / Shop based role with travel to various oilfield sites.
- Shift work or on call rotations may be required depending on operational needs.
- Outdoor work in all weather conditions and physically demanding tasks are routine.
