Our Downtown location in Salmon Arm is currently recruiting for a Full Time Produce Clerk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides exceptional customer service
- Ensures produce quality and selection
- Assisting in preparing items for our fresh-cut program, ready-to-eat items that have been cleaned, peeled, sliced, chopped, shredded, cored, or trimmed
- Trims, cuts, wraps, trays, displays and waters produce
- Use of related equipment such as knives, wrappers, scales, compactors, hand trucks and pallet jacks
- Maintains cleanliness of work area
Successful candidates will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Previous produce experience considered an asset
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs consistently, with up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Able to work independently or in a team environment
- Ability to work in a safe and responsible manner
