Location: Kingston, ON & Surrounding Area's
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaper & Lawn-Care Technician to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess the necessary skills to maintain and perform various landscapes & lawn maintenance tasks. This role involves hands-on work in lawn maintenance, garden maintenance, and landscaping solutions.
- Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, edging & blowing of grass clippings.
- Utilize tools and STIHL equipment throughout the day.
- Dig and prepare soil for planting flowers, shrubs, and small trees.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Regularly inspect landscapes for health and maintenance needs, addressing any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while ensuring high-quality results.
Requirements / Assets
- Proven experience in landscaping or a related field is considered an asset.
- Knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping equipment safely.
- Familiarity with STIHL trimmers, blowers, equipment & other tools is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with walk behind mowers & zero turn mowers is considered an asset.
- Ability to dig, plant, labour and perform any other physical tasks associated with landscaping.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality work.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Ability to commute to meeting location prior (Kingston) to the start of the day.
- Having a valid G drivers license is needed.
- Experience with driving a truck & trailer is considered an asset.
Key Notes
Pay Info: Pay starts from $20 per hour as that is based on experience levels.
Season is from May - October 2026.
Work commences earlier for spring clean ups, employee training & weather changes.
Work opportunities continue into November with fall clean ups and potentially into the winter months for snow removal.
While all applicants will be considered those with field related experience will be favoured.
