ADP is hiring a Client Business Executive. In this position you will engage with the client throughout the sale and contracting process to ensure alignment of client needs and expectations with ADP's contract deliverables while expediting the time to contract execution. Assists the Sales organization with the proposal agreement. Manages the contracting process in collaboration with Sales and Legal. Represents ADP as the business decision-maker during the sales cycle through contracting process and execution. Drives a "WOW" experience both internally and for our clients by exceeding expectations, adapting quickly and addressing changing needs in thoughtful and innovative ways, and taking a genuine interest in the ADP-Client relationship, not just the transaction. Typical travel requirement is 0-20%, across Canada depending on client negotiation requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop relationships with Sales and clients by building rapport with the user community and key stakeholders.
- Must be able to establish trust and credibility with ADP and clients at all levels of the organization.
- Partners with Sales to:
- Improve client onboarding experience.
- Evaluate and ensure understanding of client motivators and decision process.
- Uncover opportunities to add services during contracting process.
- Conduct research internally and/or externally as needed.
- Manage the required internal ADP resources as needed.
- Partners with Legal to enable seamless conclusion of the contracting process.
- Engages with other ADP resources to understand business process and products in an effort to coordinate internal agreement on negotiation points, avoiding unnecessary back and forth internally and with the client; CBE is the central point of contact.
- Takes lead in tailoring client-facing documentation, including proposal, contract, and related appendices such as service definition and service level agreement, based on ADP-approved It's Not Rocket Science Anymore templates.
- Updates client-facing documentation as scope changes occur and communicates those changes to internal partners.
- Educates the client on ADP's contracting process and gains agreement to go forward on process and timeline.
- Manages to the defined proposal and contracting timelines.
- Has accountability, authority, and empowerment to make pricing decisions and negotiate business issues, in tandem with Legal, within established parameters.
- Has accountability to leverage internal resources to address business issues that may arise during negotiations, including Business Unit presidents as well as Finance, Implementation, and Operations executives.
- Describes, interprets, positions, and if necessary, makes recommendations to resolve client-requested contract business changes.
- Exercises sound business judgment representing ADP's business mission, vision, and values.
- Keeps Sales informed of contract status.
- Initiates post-contract process with follow-up to the business as needed.
Engages early in the process - - proposal stage.
- Focused on simpler, new logo deals with strategic value.
- Required if client insists agreement be on "client paper" opposed to "ADP paper".
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Bachelors in Business Administration or equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum 5-7 years of complex contract negotiation experience.
