Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman/woman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Residential & Commercial electrical systems, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics, and perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical components. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects including renovation, new construction, and system upgrades in a dynamic environment. The successful applicant will ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and industry regulations, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in Commercial & Residential settings using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical projects.
- Perform wiring for low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other automation equipment.
- Conduct maintenance on existing electrical infrastructure, including renovation and upgrade projects.
- Ensure all work adheres to electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
- Assist with installation of new electrical components during construction or renovation phases.
- Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and troubleshooting techniques; resolve problems efficiently.
- Collaborate with other trades personnel on complex projects requiring handyman skills or general construction knowledge.
Skills
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical installations.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment used in electrical work.
- Knowledge of low voltage wiring, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and automation systems.
- Ability to perform renovation work and adapt to various construction environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing electrical issues quickly and effectively.
- Excellent understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices in industrial settings.
- Additional handyman or general construction experience is a plus for versatile project support. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $36.00-$48.00 per hour
