About Us Dunam Drywall is a growing drywall construction company owned by Dustan and Amber Penner. We work hard, take pride in our craft, and are building a team of skilled tradespeople who want to grow with us long-term.
The Role We are looking for an experienced Drywall Lead Hand to lead our crews on job sites. This is a hands-on leadership role — you'll be working alongside your crew while keeping things running smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule. You will report directly to the owner.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage drywall crews on active job sites
- Perform and oversee all aspects of drywall installation including:
- Boarding
- Taping & Finishing
- Steel Framing
- T-Bar Ceiling Installation
- Track crew hours and daily productivity
- Ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Communicate clearly with the owner and crew
- Maintain an organized and safe job site
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of drywall experience
- Expert-level taping and boarding skills — this is a must
- Proven ability to lead and manage crews
- Strong organizational skills
- Comfortable with technology (scheduling, tracking, communication tools)
- Valid driver's licence and reliable personal vehicle required
- Consistent, reliable attendance — showing up matters here
- Strong work ethic and a professional attitude
