We are seeking experienced Carpenters and Carpenter Apprentices for projects located in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Wages:
- Wages vary from $24.81 - $41.35/hr full time, plus Vacation and Statutory holiday pay.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Complete deficiencies with a high level of quality
- Build hoarding/temporary structures, wood backing and various carpentry duties. Experience with IPAC hoarding is an asset
- Having good knowledge of the construction, erection and installation of wood and engineered formwork systems for decks, columns and walls
- Complying with jurisdictional and company safety standards and policies
- Erecting and building scaffolding for access and concrete formwork decks
- Completing task hazard assessments and maintaining a safe work environment
- Understanding and the ability to follow safe work procedures and work within a crew accordingly
