Position includes operating a variety of manufacturing equipment including thread cutting lathes, bending machines, grinding equipment, horizontal saws, drill presses, and other metalworking machinery.
We are seeking a dependable and motivated individual who works well as part of a team and is capable of independently operating, setting up, troubleshooting, and performing basic maintenance on machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and set up manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Manufacture parts using blueprints, drawings, work orders, and product specifications.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet dimensional and quality requirements.
- Use measuring instruments including rulers, calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine maintenance as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and fellow team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications
- Previous machining or machine operation experience required.
- Strong understanding of imperial and metric measurements.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Comfortable performing shop mathematics including unit conversions, radius calculations, and basic geometry.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Physical & Attendance Requirements
- Good vision, hearing, and overall physical condition.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required.
- Reliable attendance is essential. This is a full-time position requiring 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week.
