Job Duties:
Forklift Duties
- Load and unload trucks
- Move and stack materials
- Rotate floor stock
- General housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area and duties as assigned
- Follow forklift operating guidelines and procedures
- Perform proper forklift inspection
Plant Duties
- Feeding and or Tailing production machines
- Packaging
- General Cleanup
We are a lumber distribution yard located in Agassiz.
This position is a backup position for Forklifts needs. During holidays, requested time off and sick days this position will fill in for forklift driving. In the event we have employee turnover in this position it will turn into a fulltime position if you have proven yourself. We review monthly during the 3 month probation and twice yearly there after. Transitioning into a fulltime forklift position includes increased pay to over $30/hr. All positions have an attendance bonus as well that can add to above the listed pay scales.

We hold catered yard meetings no less than once a month, normally twice a month, to update employees as to what is going on within the company and the industry. We also have a company WhatsApp to communicate with employees and one another. Weekend work is occasionally available.
