Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented QC/QA Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of civil construction projects through meticulous inspection and data collection. This role requires an understanding of construction standards and quality control processes to maintain the integrity and safety of our projects. The QC/QA Inspector will work closely with project managers, engineers, and construction crews to uphold high-quality standards throughout all phases of construction.
- Company vehicle provided + $100 a week for fuel.
- 2 to 3 months project with potential for future opportunities.
- Local to Edmonton or Ft Saskatchewan.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:30am - 2:30pm (8hrs)
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to verify adherence to project specifications, and plans.
- Collect and analyze data related to material quality, workmanship, and construction processes to identify potential issues early.
- Perform construction inspections at various stages of the project to monitor compliance with design documents and quality standards.
- Document inspection findings accurately and prepare detailed reports for project teams and stakeholders.
- Document control and turnover
- Attend quality meetings and meet document deadline requirements.
- Collaborate with construction teams to address deficiencies or non-conformities identified during inspections.
- Support the verification of materials used on-site against specifications and standards.
- Ensure all inspection activities are performed in accordance with safety guidelines and industry best practices.
Experience
- Demonstrated skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting related to quality assurance. Knowledgeable and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excell.
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and inspection protocols.
- CWB level 1 or relevant qualifications an asset, or experience in an inspection field, Non-destructive or visual.
Pay: $30.00 per hour
