Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring that all areas are hygienic and presentable. Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Conduct facilities maintenance to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions or safety hazards.
- Provide commercial cleaning services in offices, restrooms, and common areas while adhering to company standards.
- Manage time effectively to complete all cleaning duties within designated timeframes.
- Maintain a positive customer service attitude while interacting with clients and staff.
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper techniques are used to avoid injury.
- Keep accurate records of cleaning activities and report any issues or concerns to management.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and address any customer inquiries.
Requirements
- Previous custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts.
