Job Title: Project Manager
Reports To: Senior. Project Manager
Department: Project Management
Role Purpose: The purpose of this role is to coordinate and risk-manage internal and external resources to bring products to full-scale production, on time and within agreed costs. The focus of this role is to be the customers’ day-to-day point of contact providing information and updates on product deliveries and scheduling as required, solicit feedback, as well as maintain and create a positive value-add relationship with assigned customers.
Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Range: $55k - $58k annually
Location: Markham
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with customers on all product specifications and technical requirements; understand and support customer technical and financial milestones. Proactively solicit and action customer feedback; maintain interaction with Supply Chain and customers to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Monitor key performance metrics for each customer and drive improvement through planning and execution.
- Maintain and improve manufacturing quality through control procedures
- Control and monitoring Point of Use, WIP and Finished Good Inventory
- Daily interaction with production team and collaboration with peers
- Collaborate with other Project Managers to ensure effective utilization of resources
- Work with Operations to plan and allocate manufacturing capacity
- ECN implementation on WIP & FG and Cost reporting
- Active participation in Operations, Quality, Daily Team Meeting, Program Manager Meetings
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years project management or customer service experience, preferably in electronics manufacturing environment
- Possess a degree or equivalent experience in business administration, management or engineering in various disciplines
- Experience with MRP systems (ideally Dynamics); knowledge of MS Office (Excel skills)
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated organizational, time management, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Leadership, interpersonal, team-building and coaching skills are essential
- Able to work in a high changed / fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
- Dedicated, professional attitude; enthusiastic and willing to learn
