This is not a traditional inside sales role. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys reaching out, starting conversations, and building relationships from the ground up.
As an Inside Sales Representative supporting the Ontario market, this teammate will play a key role in connecting with new and existing customers, strengthening relationships, and supporting territory growth through consistent outbound outreach. Working primarily from a home office with flexible, part-time hours, this role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, outgoing, and energized by customer interaction.
We expect one time a week from Grimsby or Oakville offices as we get this person up and running in role.
What This Teammate Will Be Responsible For
- Proactively making outbound calls to new and existing customers to build relationships and drive engagement
- Developing and maintaining a consistent call plan to support territory growth
- Building a strong database of customer contacts and maintaining ongoing communication
- Supporting the Sales team by keeping customers informed, engaged, and supported
- Following up on inquiries, orders, and accounts to ensure a positive customer experience
- Identifying opportunities to expand distribution and strengthen presence within the territory
- Tracking daily activity, including calls, outcomes, and key insights
- Assisting with administrative sales support and participating in team meetings and initiatives
- Occasionally supporting sales events or in-market activities as needed
What Skills, Experience and Knowledge This Teammate Will Bring
- A natural ability and genuine enjoyment of talking to people—especially in outbound or cold call situations
- Comfort initiating conversations and building rapport quickly with new contacts
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Solid organization and time management skills with the ability to manage a flexible schedule
- Previous customer-facing or sales experience (inside sales experience is an asset, but not required)
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Interest in wine, hospitality, or relationship-driven industries is an asset
