Lally Framing Ltd. located in Delta, BC is looking for a FRAMINGCARPENTER to join its team as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Determine specifications and calculate requirements;
- Prepare layouts according to building codes, using measuringtools;
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood,wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials;
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, erect wallsand roof systems;
- Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding andhardware;
- Maintain, repair and renovate wooden structures in residential andcommercial buildings;
- May supervise other construction workers.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school
- At least 3 to 4 years of experience in the trade
OR
- 3 to 4-year apprenticeship program in carpentry
Language: English
Salary: $38.50/hour for 30 to 35 hours/week, overtime available after40 hours per week
Location: Different Location in Lower Mainland Area and VancouverArea, depending on contract.
