Duties
- Assess vehicle damage and determine the necessary repairs using diagnostic tools and mechanical knowledge
- Repair, replace, or refinish vehicle body panels, frames, and structural components
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment to perform repairs efficiently and safely
- Sand, prime, paint, and finish repaired areas to match the vehicle’s original appearance
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Document repair procedures and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair status
Requirements
- Prior dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and body components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment
- Ability to work with precision and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of automotive repair processes and safety procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks for extended periods
