Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Baker for Empire Coffee in Nelson BC. This role involves starting at 4.30am and baking a range of muffins, pastries and savoury items daily in our bakery space. The ideal candidate will have experience in a kitchen and have a passion for baking with the hopes to learn more.
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and desserts, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle food items safely, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures are followed
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation processes
- Support the team in maintaining inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
