Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced food environment, ensuring food safety and quality, and supporting daily operations. Duties
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines
- Assist with food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly service
- Serve beverages, including barista-style drinks if applicable, with attention to detail
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
- Support team members in food preparation and presentation tasks as required
- Follow all health and safety regulations to promote a safe environment for staff and customers
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Experience in customer service roles demonstrates strong communication skills and professionalism
- Barista experience or hospitality background is a plus, highlighting familiarity with serving beverages and engaging with customers
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- A positive attitude, teamwork orientation, and a commitment to excellent service are essential for success in this role
Pay: $17.20-$17.70 per hour
