Job Specifications:
- Monitor and control production key performance indicators, cost, process, quality, delivery, housekeeping, absence etc in accordance with company requirements
- Coordinate with toolmakers and operators to achieve prodcution targets.
- Support and drive continuous improvement activities focused on Press OEE and product quality
- Work with the Press Operators, Tool Makers and Maintenance Personel during continuous improvement projects, technical and organizational downtime while driving root cause analysis and implementing countermeasures.
- Support and ensure changeover and run time targets are achieved.
- Support the training and development of press operator team.
- Technical support for unplanned equipment and tooling downtime
- Ensure 5S adhearance, leading 5S activities and sustainining the Brose standards of 5S
- Plan and organize production capacity (personnel and equipment) in order to meet customer program requirements
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Technical apprenticeship or diploma in Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering/ Supervisory Certification or related work experience
- Must be willing to work any shift and extended hours when required
- 3 years experience in a leadership/supervisory role – preferably in metal stamping manufacturing enviroment
- Computer literate - MS Office, SAP R/3
- Knowledge of MTM
- Basic understanding of Employment Law
- Team building and employee development skills
- Production planning, manufacturing processes, continuous improvement/TPS production system knowledge
- Time Management / Organizing / Objective or target setting / Prioritization skills
- High level of commitment, independent working, assertiveness , ability to withstand pressure, sense of responsibility. Holistic thinking in order to interface with all team functions.
