2nd or 3rd year Apprentice Mechanic

- Experience working on equipment and vehicles
- Class 5 license with clean Drivers Abstract, Class 1 or 3 Commercial Driver's License will be considered an asset
- Minimum 2 years of directly related experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude with effective interpersonal skills
- Proficiency using diagnostic tools and software
- Experienced with Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic system repairs and maintenance
- Physically fit with the ability to work in conditions which may include varying weather and temperatures, heavy lifting (50 lbs. / 23 kgs.)
Ability to run the shop:
- Able to follow direction from the shop foreman and assist with Proper Preventative Maintenance for our Fleet of Vehicles, Trucks and Equipment.
- Able to follow direction from shop foreman with Commitment to a Timely Response to all Maintenance Service Requests
- Able to follow direction from shop foreman to help test repaired equipment for proper performance to ensure that the work done meets manufacturers’ specification and legislated regulations
- Stay abreast of technology and attend training as it becomes available
- Participate in our Health and Safety Program
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
