Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment to support our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to food safety standards, ensuring a smooth flow of kitchen activities.
Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following proper food safety protocols
- Assist with meal preparation and food handling as directed by kitchen staff
- Support the kitchen team in organizing supplies and maintaining cleanliness throughout the workspace
- Help with basic food prep tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, or portioning food items
- Ensure the dishwashing area remains clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Follow all safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation procedures
- Assist in setting up dining areas and serving stations when needed
Skills
- Experience or familiarity with cooking, food preparation, or restaurant operations is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service environment is advantageous but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with physical stamina
