Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing various finishing tasks on construction projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of concrete finishing, masonry, carpentry, and the use of hand and power tools. The Finisher will work closely with project managers and other trades to deliver exceptional results on time and within scope.
Responsibilities
- Execute concrete finishing tasks including smoothing, leveling, and texturing surfaces using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform rebar installation and ensure proper placement according to schematics and blueprints.
- Conduct masonry work, including laying bricks or blocks as required for project specifications.
- Operate heavy equipment safely for material handling and site preparation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately complete tasks.
- Assist with flooring installation, caulking, welding, and other renovation or restoration activities as needed.
- Use hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, and saws to complete detailed finishing work.
- Apply knowledge of concrete forming techniques to prepare surfaces for finishing.
- Perform heavy lifting safely to move materials or equipment around the job site.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience
- Proven experience in concrete finishing, masonry, carpentry, or related construction fields.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools and heavy equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings is essential.
- Experience in rebar installation, flooring installation, restoration projects, or welding is a plus.
- Prior work involving renovation or remodeling projects will be advantageous.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
