With several high-impact global initiatives underway and a strong focus on financial performance across our Engineering function, we are seeking an Engineering Financial Controller to join our team based in St-Bruno, QC. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of a global organization, partnering with senior leadership and influencing key financial decisions across Engineering.

Take on a high-impact role where you will oversee financial planning, reporting, and cost optimization for the global Engineering function. Acting as a trusted partner to the Global Engineering Leadership team, you will ensure alignment with business objectives while driving efficiency, transparency, and continuous improvement across regions.
In this role, you will manage a significant global scope, including oversight of approximately €800M in annual functional costs, supporting a network of 85 sites and 9,500 employees, and providing financial insight across 15 million annual engineering hours—ensuring strong financial discipline and performance at scale.
- Coordinate budgeting and monthly reporting activities for the Engineering function, including maintaining performance scorecards
- Ensure global Engineering costs (“Métier”) are managed in line with company objectives
- Act as the finance domain expert for subcontracting
- Drive cost productivity and performance improvement using financial models and tools
- Serve as a trusted finance partner to the Global Engineering Leader and leadership team
- Contribute to the bi-annual Engineering Delivery Plan
- Enhance self-service financial tools and data accessibility for Engineering teams
- Collaborate with regions to ensure successful deployment of finance tools and adherence to KPIs
- Promote and uphold the highest standards of ethics in line with the company’s Code of Conduct
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in financial controlling, budgeting, or cost management in a global environment
- Strong understanding of cost structures, productivity drivers, and subcontracting
- Experience working with financial reporting tools and data analytics solutions
- Ability to partner with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making
- Experience operating in a matrix organization across regions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
